Operations Manager – Not-for-Profit OSHC Education Provider
Location: Eight Mile Plains
Employment Type: Full-time, 8 week contract (Parental Leave Cover)
Start Date: Immediate start

Join a purpose-driven not-for-profit OSHC provider dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a capable and compassionate Operations Manager to support our mission during a parental leave period.

About the Role

As the Operations Manager, you will play a key leadership role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our services. Working in close partnership with the Head of Operations, you will provide both strategic and practical support across multiple sites to ensure operational excellence, strong team performance, and continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support service delivery across designated OSHC sites to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations and Area Managers to implement and monitor operational strategies.
  • Coordinate calendars and schedules across leadership teams to optimise efficiency and communication.
  • Manage and respond to internal and external communications, including emails and phone enquiries.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and maintain accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Support the resolution of service issues and complaints in a values-driven, child-focused manner.
  • Conduct regular site visits and provide hands-on operational oversight and guidance as needed.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an operations, managerial, or leadership role.
    Experience within the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) sector is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and support diverse teams.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable adapting to new systems and technologies.
    Highly organised with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Current Blue Card is essential
